Random Thought!
Random thought; was going through a “Depression” thread on one of these forums and this came to me.
I used to get depression attacks pretty regularly but then isn’t life too short for us to be actually depressed about stuff we can’t actually do anything about, or for that matter be pissed at something trivial.
Everyone has his own way of dealing with depression right; you smoke, you pray – whatever works for you. But at the end of the day it’s all in our head. It’s just how you want to look at things. This might not make a lot of sense to people who think that life is really being a bitch, but dwell on it – life’s a bitch eh? Well “Bring it on bitch.”

Indeed. It is all about the mindset you are occupied with. It is just a big make-believe game where one is fighting with one’s own instincts.

Well here is a quote Lubna shared with me and oddly it has helped me out of the blues often
“Life is a comedy for those who think and tragedy for those who feel”
Every once in a while sit back and look at what’s happening around….how the going’s got completely out of hand…and man could you end up laughing at it….
DISCLAIMER: This formula might not work when your FYP is on a stand still

Ahhh depressions. I think I can sit with you and talk about this for hours on end. But they are a funny thing. How do I deal with my depressions. Well, I used to pretend they werent there by getting busy in some random stuff or I just used to leave home, hang out with my friends or well just drive. Bottom line I used to ignore it until I had nothing else left to do. Not that good a solution really. Oh! and writing used to help.
But lately – and I think this is a much better approach – I have just quit being bothered about stuff. “Living in the moment’ is what I call it. And trust me its doing me wonders. No regrets, no worries … absolutely nothing to lose. You might argue that this too is synonymous to ignoring stuff but no it isnt. I am a person who loses himself to his thoughts and then maybe paranoias (sort of exagerrated, but you get the point). All of this is just helping me not to dwell on irrelavent stuff.
At the end of the day like this post says, its all in the head and its all about how we want to take a situation. Seriously, tell everything to take its best shot and tell yourself, no believe that nothing in the world can touch you. Be invincible in your head, and trust me you are invincible!
