One of the most fascinating works of nature is rain. Probably the most simplest yet the most beautiful of phenomenas. The thick overcast, the rumbling clouds, the unnerving thunderclaps are some of the most amusing experiences; experiences I am never tired of.
The down pour always tingles my creative senses and I have almost penned my appreciation of the heavens opening up and the excitement which follows.
But the latest to my addition of pictures of rain produced through words are the shots captured while the rain lasted. For one it transforms the boring clear blue skies & the menacing sun with something as serene as this:


You have to love the greens and how absolutely stunning they look once washed by the rain and captured in the subdued light of the sun behind the clouds.


Even when the sun has set and darkness reins, a light drizzle & the washed atmosphere produce sights which are rarely witnessed in the daily routine.


Not to mention how rain drops can transform a sight from everyday life into something divine or sometimes even uncanny & bizarre.


Menacing as rains may be claimed to by majority of Karachi’s residents I doubt if anyone of them will be unable to appreciate how rain had the capability to transform the otherwise barren landscape of the city to:
